Updates about our beloved Ping 蘋兒的近況更新

Dear friends, 

Thanks for all your warm greetings and support. Our beloved baby girl, Ping,  is still in the ICU. When Ping could come home is still unknown, but there is progress everyday. We also have been experiencing the miracle of life, and full of grace and peace. 

Ping completed a hernia repair surgery yesterday. Compared with the ECMO surgery and the open heart surgery Ping had previously, the hernia repair surgery is relatively simple. We are still, however, grateful for the smooth safe result of her surgery. She recovered well after the surgery, and we even saw her smile for the first time yesterday. Her smile was so adorable and almost melted us! Her opening on the chest has been completely closed since 1, July. Now her breathe and oxygen concentration are fairly stable, breast-milk-feeding and absorption are also getting better. Although her right pulmonary artery is still too narrow, which affects the efficiency of her breathing and oxygen exchange, we continue accompanying her, praying for her  and waiting, we believe God has a wonderful plan for Ping and us.

Although Ping still needs to rely on a respirator now, we see the progress each day. For each incremental c.c. of breast-milk-feeding and every gram she grows, we praise our God. The most amazing part is that her cerebral hemorrhage has completely disappeared! We are so amazed by the beautiful work of God!

Thank you, our dear friends. I will share the progress about Ping in English from time to time, and also expect the day Ping could come home, and the day we could share the good times she has at "home” with you all.

Dear friends, whether we are in the same time zone or not, the sun we look up and see every day is the same, and the invisible  “string of friendship" is always connecting each of us.

親愛的朋友們，

謝謝大家溫暖的問候與支持。蘋兒目前還在加護病房，出院的時間未知，但每一天都有進展，我們也跟著蘋兒一同經歷生命的奇蹟，以及滿滿的恩典與平安。

蘋兒昨天完成了疝氣修補手術，比起之前的葉克膜手術、開心手術來說，這是相對單純的手術，但我們仍然為她手術順利平安感恩，她手術後恢復良好，昨天我們甚至第一次看到她笑了，那真是讓我們融化的笑容。蘋兒胸前的開口已在7/1完全關胸，現在血氧濃度和呼吸都還算穩定，母乳餵食和吸收也越來越好。雖然目前仍有右邊的肺動脈偏狹窄的問題，會影響她呼吸和氧氣交換的效率，但我們持續陪伴、禱告、等待，相信神有美好的帶領與蘋兒和我們同在。

雖然蘋兒現在還需要倚靠呼吸器，但每一天都有進展，我們為每次母乳餵食量增加1c.c.感恩、為她成長的每一公克向神獻上讚美，更為她原本的腦出血完全消失大大驚嘆神美好的工！
